The Faculty of Sports Sciences Advisory Board Meeting was held.

The Advisory Board Meeting of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was held with broad participation to evaluate the faculty's education, research, social contribution, and quality processes.

The meeting was attended by advisory board members representing public institutions, sports federations, sports clubs, education administrators, and various other institutions. During the meeting, the faculty's mission, vision, and strategic goals were shared, and the current status of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Sports Management, and Coaching Education departments was comprehensively evaluated.

Discussions covered education and training processes, curriculum updates, the effectiveness of applied courses, internship programs, student development, career planning studies, and alumni tracking activities. Information was also provided to board members regarding ongoing work within the scope of quality assurance and accreditation processes, and stakeholder opinions were gathered.

One of the important agenda items of the meeting was the possibilities for university-public-private sector collaboration. Evaluations were made on potential joint projects with institutions and organizations operating in the field of sports, the development of application and internship opportunities, efforts to strengthen student ties with the sector, and increasing employment opportunities.

The advisory board members shared their views on the knowledge, skills, and competencies that graduates should possess in line with the current needs of the sports sector, and also made suggestions for improving the quality of education at the faculty. Furthermore, they exchanged ideas on developing national and international collaborations, increasing student and academic staff mobility, and joint studies to be carried out in the field of sports sciences.

At the end of the meeting, decisions were made to continuously improve educational activities, develop practices aligned with sector needs, strengthen stakeholder collaborations, and support quality processes, in line with the views and suggestions of the advisory board members.

As the Faculty of Sports Sciences, we aim to continuously improve the quality of education with the contributions of our stakeholders, to train our students in accordance with the needs of the sector, and to continue to create value at regional, national, and international levels.
