The third training session aimed at developing academic competencies was held at the Faculty of Sports Sciences.

A training program aimed at developing academic competencies was held at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, conducted by faculty member Turan Başkonuş.

The training focused on the TÜBİTAK project titled "The First Step in the Participation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Sports: The Effect of Adapted Physical Activities on Movement, Balance, and Object Control Skills of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Early Childhood," covering project writing, application, and implementation processes.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Turan Başkonuş provided participants with information on all stages, from developing the project idea and preparing the application file to the evaluation phases and project implementation processes. The training also addressed important considerations, challenges encountered, and proposed solutions during the project preparation process, sharing practical examples based on project experiences.

The event, which aimed to increase academics' awareness of national research support programs and their project development capacity, concluded after participants' questions and opinions were heard.

The training, held in classrooms 2-3 of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, was attended by faculty members as well as graduate students, who had the opportunity to learn about project development and implementation processes.
