All students are required to complete their own course registrations for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester.
When selecting courses for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Spring Semester, students must consult their department's course schedules.
Course registrations that lack advisor approval are invalid.
Course registration is the student's responsibility. For students who enrolled in the 2020-2021 academic year or later: starting from the end of the second semester, associate and undergraduate students with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) below 1.80 at the end of any semester may register for a maximum of 30 ECTS credits of courses in the following semester. Those with a CGPA of 1.80 or higher may register for a maximum of 45 ECTS credits of courses in the following semester.
For students who enrolled in the 2019-2020 academic year or earlier: starting from the end of the second semester, associate and undergraduate students with a CGPA below 1.80 at the end of any semester may register for a maximum of 24 credits of courses in the following semester. Those with a CGPA of 1.80 or higher may register for a maximum of 30 credits of courses in the following semester.
Students enrolled in 2016 or later will not be permitted to select courses for the purpose of raising their grades. However, students who have successfully completed all their courses but cannot graduate because their CGPA is below 2.00 may retake courses they have already passed—within the credit limits specified in the sixth paragraph of the University’s Associate and Undergraduate Degree Regulation—in order to raise their grades.
Undergraduate students admitted in 2016 or later who have a CGPA of 3.00 or higher and have successfully completed all courses up to their current semester (starting from the 5th semester) may, with the approval of their academic advisor, register for courses from the next academic year/level, provided they remain within the applicable credit and ECTS limits. Undergraduate students enrolled in 2015 or earlier may retake courses they have already passed—within credit limits—for the purpose of improving their grades.
Students studying at the School of Foreign Languages—specifically those in evening education programs, regular education students pursuing a second university degree, and students who failed to complete the preparatory year within the standard duration—may pay their contribution fees or tuition fees between 00:00 on September 14, 2026, and 23:59 on September 20, 2026. Payments can be made using their student ID number at Halkbank branches or via Halkbank’s internet banking and ATMs.
Students whose 3rd-year curriculum includes University Elective Courses (USD) are required to take a total of TWO such courses—one in the 5th semester and one in the 6th semester—during their period of study.
