We wish success to all students who have been admitted to our University based on the 2026 DGS placement results and will be registering.
Students who will be newly registering at our University based on the 2026 DGS placement results can find detailed information regarding the registration process below.
STUDENTS REGISTERING VIA E-GOVERNMENT (E-DEVLET)
Students admitted to our University following the 2026 Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) placement may complete their final registration using their e-Government passwords between September 14 and September 16, 2026 (until 23:59)—with the exception of students admitted to the Maritime Faculty’s Marine Engineering Operations program—or they may complete their final registration in person by applying to the Central Student Affairs Unit during working hours between September 14 and September 16, 2026. Candidates who were not currently enrolled or had not yet graduated at the time of their application to ÖSYM will not be eligible for electronic registration; they must complete their registration in person by applying to the Central Student Affairs Unit during working hours between September 14 and September 16, 2026.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION
After completing the registration process, the student must submit the transcript and course syllabi from their completed associate degree program to the Dean's Office of the faculty where they registered, within two weeks of the registration date. Exemption requests submitted after this period will not be accepted. Students admitted to the Maritime Faculty’s Marine Engineering Operations program following the 2026 DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) must:
a. Meet the legal requirements regarding registration, admission, and health conditions as stipulated in the "Regulation on Seafarers and Maritime Pilots" and the "Directive on the Training and Examination of Seafarers and Maritime Pilots";
b. Obtain a "Seafarer Health Report" in accordance with the procedures and principles set forth in the "Seafarer Health Directive" published by the General Directorate of Health for Borders and Coasts, have this report approved at a Health Inspection Center, and obtain a "Seafarer Health Examination Certificate."
Students who have completed their registration must apply to the Faculty where they registered regarding any course exemption requests. Students required to pay tuition fees may do so between September 14 and September 20, 2026, using their student numbers at any Halkbank branch, via Halkbank Internet Banking, or at Halkbank ATMs.
Newly registered students must log in to the University Information Management System (UBYS) and complete their course registration between September 14 and September 20, 2026. (Usernames and passwords will be sent to the mobile phone numbers registered in the system after the registration process is completed; you may also log in using your e-Government [e-Devlet] password.)
