A meeting was held in our faculty as part of the accreditation process.

The Academic Board Meeting of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was held on July 1, 2026, under the mentorship of Lecturer Dr. Funda UĞURLU, with the participation of faculty members.

The meeting included a detailed evaluation of the current status of the work being carried out to complete the evidence files updated within the scope of SPORAK Version 3.0. Deficiencies identified in the evidence files were addressed, and discussions were held regarding the work to be completed and the roadmap to be followed.

Another agenda item concerned the evaluation processes and examination documentation work related to the final and make-up exams for the 2025-2026 academic year. The importance of preparing, archiving, and recording examination documents completely and in accordance with quality assurance processes was emphasized.

The final part of the meeting reviewed the current status of the SPORAK application process. During the review of the work to be completed before the application, a consensus was reached on ensuring the process proceeds according to the planned schedule, completing any deficiencies as soon as possible through coordination with the relevant faculty members, and maintaining an effective application process.

The meeting concluded with expressions of good wishes and hopes for the continuous improvement of the department's educational quality, the strengthening of the quality assurance culture, and the successful completion of the accreditation process.
