Orientation Training for First Grade Students was held in our faculty

An orientation program was held at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University (BANÜ) for first-year students beginning their university journey in the 2026-2027 academic year.

Designed to facilitate the students' transition to university life and provide them with an understanding of academic and administrative operations, the program included information sessions for students enrolled in the departments of Coaching Education, Physical Education and Sports Teaching, and Sports Management.

During the orientation, students were briefed on the general structure of the university and the faculty, academic processes, the academic calendar, course registration and examination procedures, academic advising services, and the various social, cultural, and athletic opportunities available to them. Furthermore, the session covered opportunities to support students' academic development, as well as key points to keep in mind throughout their university experience.

Following the program, a feedback survey was conducted to gather the students' views and evaluations regarding the orientation. The feedback collected is intended to help improve future orientation activities.

This orientation program aimed to ensure that new students joining the faculty could begin their university life in a well-informed and well-adjusted manner.
