Establishment	The Department of Sports Management began admitting students in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Qualification Awarded	Graduates who successfully complete all requirements of the program are awarded a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.

Admission and Registration Requirements	Applicants must have graduated from a high school or an equivalent institution and obtained the required score in the Equal Weight score category of the Higher Education Institutions Examination administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center. International students must hold a high school diploma and a Certificate of Equivalence issued by the Ministry of National Education. Results from the International Student Examination or international university entrance examinations recognized by the Council of Higher Education, such as SAT I and ACT, are also accepted. Admission to the program is based on the scores obtained from the International Student Examination or an equivalent examination.
Recognition of Prior Learning	Students who previously studied at a higher education institution in Türkiye or abroad and completed their final registration at the university may request the transfer of their credits and grades. Applications submitted within the first week are reviewed by the relevant academic unit’s executive board. The decision covers the student’s entire previous education and is made only once. Students may be exempted from compulsory foreign language courses if they obtain at least 60 out of 100, or a grade of CC or above that is considered equivalent to 60, in the central foreign language examination administered by the university at the beginning of the academic year.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations	Students must successfully complete all courses in the program and must not have any FF, DZ or YZ grades. They must complete at least 240 ECTS credits and achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00.
Program Profile	The Department of Sports Management is an interdisciplinary field that covers sports management, sports law and sports economics, as well as concepts and approaches related to general business administration. The primary objective of the department is to educate qualified sports managers needed in Türkiye. The program offers theoretical and practical courses from a broad perspective to help students develop organizational skills.
Employment Opportunities for Graduates	Graduates may work in sports clubs, units affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, sports organizations, and the public relations, marketing and human resources departments of companies.
Access to Further Studies	Graduates who meet the relevant admission requirements may apply to master’s, doctoral or proficiency in art programs.

Department Facilities	The faculty has 12 classrooms allocated for undergraduate education, each with an average usable area of 90 m². Every classroom is equipped with a computer, a projector and internet access. The university campus also provides two multipurpose sports halls measuring 1,600 m² and 1,400 m² for practical courses; dance, gymnastics, rhythm training and table tennis halls, each measuring 400 m²; a 400 m² fitness center; and Faculty of Sport Sciences practice facilities that include a swimming pool.
