Sports managers are proactive, self-confident, communicative, authorized, and responsible professionals who follow contemporary management principles and methods, remain sensitive to social issues, and develop scientific solutions to problems related to their field. They undertake various roles in the administration and management of sports services and activities and carry out the work necessary to lead sports organizations toward their founding objectives. Within the scope of their authority, they fulfill their responsibilities by using available resources, including finances, time, facilities, equipment, and personnel, in the most rational manner and in accordance with the principles of management.

With its expert academic staff, the Department of Sports Management has all the necessary resources to educate individuals who possess management and leadership skills, enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate social responsibility, develop projects and solutions, act according to ethical values, and transfer a sports culture shaped by the philosophy of Olympism to future generations and society.

We aim to support you through versatile, high-quality education at an international level that will enable you to adapt to different professional fields in a globalized world. Our department primarily provides education in sports management and organization, sports business administration, sports marketing, sports psychology, sports sociology, public relations and communication in sports management, human resources in sports organizations, leadership in sports, and total quality management in sports.

Graduates of the Department of Sports Management may pursue careers in sports-related public and private institutions, particularly the Ministry of Youth and Sports; amateur and professional sports clubs; provincial and district directorates affiliated with the General Directorate of Sports Services; sports facilities operated by public and private organizations; athlete training centers; private sports courses; and universities as academics.
