The Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, located within the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, was established to train well-equipped, contemporary, innovative, and ethically-minded physical education teachers who support the lifelong physical, mental, and social development of individuals.

Our program aims to provide our students with a strong academic foundation in sports science, educational sciences, and applied sports. With a wide range of courses from basic medical sciences to educational psychology, from training knowledge and sports pedagogy to applied sports training, we equip our students with both theoretical and practical skills.

Our department's academic staff consists of highly competent faculty members who actively participate in scientific research, projects, and academic events at national and international levels. We provide our students with multifaceted support to develop not only their teaching skills but also their research, leadership, and communication skills.

Furthermore, thanks to the internship and practical training opportunities offered to our students, they gain experience in real school environments, preparing them for their professional lives after graduation. Believing in the transformative effect of sports on individuals and society, our department aims to educate its graduates to be role models not only in the classroom but in all aspects of life.
