An Orientation Program Will Be Held in Our Department

Orientation programs will be organized for students who will begin their education in 2025 by registering for our University programs (YKS, DGS, horizontal transfer, international quota, etc.) within the scope of the following points. These orientation programs will be held at least twice within the first week following the start of the academic year specified in the academic calendar and will be conducted by our Dean's Office, covering all students, especially those in relevant departments.

In this context, our students will be informed about the processes and practices at our University. Topics include: - UBYS usage, student counseling services, and office hours
- Course registration, course enrollment, exemptions, course passing, and graduation criteria
- Double major/minor programs, student exchange programs
- Student societies, social and cultural activities, and communication
- Smoke-free campus practices, tobacco ban, smoke-free areas, and disciplinary measures
- Quality processes, institutional accreditation, and program accreditations
- Guidance services, cafeteria, library, and IT facilities
